Can Catholic social teaching help address police brutality?

I don't understand how this can be taken as a “naïve," or "poorly written" article. And “inane"? How so?

Anyway, I think it is a very necessary––unfortunately so––article.  This is also a culture of life, dignity of the human person, and “throwaway culture" issue.
