OnlySunshine
I saw an ENT surgeon last month for a second opinion because my tonsils have been causing problems for about 2 years but the first surgeon didn't want to do anything to them (he was awful; he didn't even look in my throat until I begged him). The new ENT saw them and asked me a series of question gauging how severe my condition was and wanted to see if the problems warranted a tonsillectomy. When I told him I was coughing a lot and having trouble with sore throats, sinus issues, etc, he agreed they need to be taken out. However, I didn't want to have the surgery close to the holidays so I asked if it would be possible to wait until 2017. I had to wait until the office got the new surgery schedule, which they did this past week. My surgery is scheduled on January 24th at 8:30am. I'm not looking forward to having surgery once again (especially since I had surgery in October for my GYN problems) but it needs to be done. Hopefully, I will feel much better.
