truthfinder
If you don't already know of this devotion, the St. Andrew's 'novena' starts today, Nov 30, and goes until Christmas. It's said 15 times a day (and you'll pretty quickly memorize the prayer). A great way to both prepare during Advent as well as bring a little prayer routine into your day. Can be said any way you like - maybe one prayer every waking hour or 5x at every meal - up to you. There's a couple variations of the prayer, but this is pretty standard (from EWTN) Hail and blessed be the hour and moment In which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires, [here mention your request] through the merits of Our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.
