And when I change myself, I am therefore changing a situation or circumstance....in a positive or negative direction. I am hoping prayerfully that Donald Trump will make a great President of the USA, taking the USA to great heights of note. I pray that Hilary Clinton will move on in her journey in Peace and happiness - correcting some convictions. Prayer has no limits, knows no boundaries. "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26) Quote Extract only: "The Rule of Expectations uses expectations to influence reality and create results. Individuals tend to make decisions based on how others expect them to perform. As a result, people fulfil those expectations whether positive or negative. Expectations have a powerful impact on those we trust and respect, but interestingly, an even greater impact on perfect strangers. When we know someone expects something from us, we will try to satisfy him or in order to gain respect and likability." There are plenty of cigars better than current Cuban Cohiba. And Florida is fantastic in January with the certified best Cuban sandwiches in Tampa. We have everything that Cuba has AND we can beesh about the current President and President-Elect freely. We even have tons of Cubanos who support or hate Castro you could discuss politics with. He may not be the one to talk, but he meant we needed to clear out all the corrupt career politicians and end their control because the corruption seeps into the way America is being run and we are not getting the best from our leaders. He's not a politician but a business man. He's coming from the outside, not the inside. These were things he wanted to capitalize on in his campaign, so that slogan became his mantra. I agree but I would go back further than Obama. On 11/28/2016 at 6:52 PM, Peace said: For a cigar or a weekend in January, I would have to say yes. Ha ha. They get attacked even from within. Hi PF For sure, all Catholics are a mixture of sinner and saint, as is The Church - and of course all Catholics (of all ranks) comprise The Church. The Mystical Body of Christ on earth is a beautiful - and a quite complex Doctrine, when attempts are made to define (or break it down) into language. My take: Jesus has told us to expect persecution "they have persecuted Me and they will persecute you". I think that disagreement including in The Church might mean that Truth is still struggling to be heard - in other words, both sides might be somewhat incorrect, not quite spot on, and possibly only the ongoing exchange of ideas contesting each other can eventually allow Truth to be heard. But both sides do need to be listening to each other with no other agenda than Truth. We need to be listeners, willing to hear what the other has to say - and with no other agenda but the truth of matters. We are told to expect persecution or trouble from within as well: Quote Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. 52 From now on a household of five will be divided, three against two and two against three; a father will be divided against his son and a son against his father, a mother against her daughter and a daughter against her mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law." 54 He also said to the crowds, "When you see (a) cloud rising in the west you say immediately that it is going to rain - and so it does; and when you notice that the wind is blowing from the south you say that it is going to be hot - and so it is. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky; why do you not know how to interpret the present time? Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?" (Jesus in this Chapter has been giving instruction on various matters and on how to act)

<3 PopeFrancis
Yes that was a good answer. Until Truth is in fullness, that is the only approach. Thank you.
