My great-aunt, who lives in an aged care facility, fell over in the shower last week. She broke her left wrist (her dominant hand) and has a hairline fracture in her right arm. The care staff where she lives have not treated the situation well at all. I am so happy to know she feels she can call my parents and talk to them or ask for help; due to family problems they're really the only family she has. She is still very independent, but worries a lot and has a history of mental illness so the whole situation must be very frustrating for her.

There were thunderstorms interstate last week which have led to an asthma outbreak so serious that six people have died. Five are still in hospital (three of them critically ill).
