The time has come in my life in which I must make a decision with the help of you fine people. These pictures were taken within the same year for utmost accuracy.

Please vote and debate accordingly.

Without the beard and glasses:

Wow, with beard and glass you look like the priest who teach us Modern History and whom 90% of the girl dream to marry.

(I am one of these girl. Please keep the beard and the glasses.)

Thin it out a bit.  And bulk up.

I don't hit the weights. I have no desire to be bulky and I like being thin rather than muscular. Plus I've always been more of a cardio guy anyway.

Are there mirrors in the seminary?

In the convent there were none with the exception of one in a bathroom where we cut our hair in private.  And it was only there so that we could see what we were doing.  That's one of the things I loved about the convent and religious life...our focus on our appearances was completely diminished, unlike it is in the outside world where looks and fads and self-image seems to be front and center.  Don't get me wrong, we made sure we were presentable, but not having mirrors helped us to get over ourselves completely.  (Also wearing veils helped tremendously as well, not having to worry about hairstyles and such.)

I'm just curious if things are different in the seminary in regards to this...

We each have two mirrors in our room, but that's because presentation is really stressed here. We can't even go up on campus without wearing at least a polo and slacks.

You look much better with beard, from what I gather.

Can you post more pictures without beard (preferably with you larger)? It might be the angle and size of the particular photos causing this.

Do what you prefer yourself and only vaguely aware what others think.

(And never wear crocs)

I honestly don't put much weight in peoples' responses to this. :P This thread was mostly just because I was incredibly bored on the phorum has been slow as of late.
