Personal need & a little bird in need

Please say a prayer.  I really do need one massive dose of humility and discipline with true insight and understanding – God Willing.  Also, make it a prayer too for a little bird in my side yard – he has fallen to the ground learning to fly.  He is not at all injured but very alert and wandering around every so often flapping his wings.  I rang Fauna Rescue and they tell me it is all normal for a young bird not yet able to fly.  There is an adult bird that now and then flies down to him for a few seconds. Fauna Rescue tells me that this is an indication that all is well and the little one is only learning to fly – and it could take a few days before he is able.  I am concered, but Fauna Rescue tell me it is all normal and just let the little one be and go on trying.  In hanging up she said “And good luck!” That sort of rung a bit of an ominous tone for me and my little pal learner.

 

Fortunately I have a side gate that keeps my little dog away from my learner, but I have to keep my cat inside as she can jump the gate.  I can watch the little learner while sitting under my pergola which has shade cloth on the side where he (or she) is trying hard to fly.  I am so hoping the little one will soon be able to fly - God Willing.
