Outfits thread?

I know this has been done in the past, so to lighten the general mood of the Phorum as of late, does anyone want to have an outfits/clothing/fashion thread? Like, post outfits you've worn lately and overall have lighthearted discussion on style etc? I'm trying to be better about not hating/dreading the process of deciding what to wear every day so this could be good for me. Both guys and girls would be free to post if they'd like! What do people think of this? Yea or nay?

I know the dreading what to wear feeling too well. I have plenty of clothes, but some days I just hate them all and everything I put on smells of elderberries. I'm overweight so if I'm having a day where I feel really self conscious getting dressed is a big stress.

It sounds like a fun idea! We could do with lightening the mood round here.

Okay! Well I guess I'll start things off with yesterday's outfit. I wish I had set my purse down for this picture though smh

I love those sandals! That dress is super cute too.

I can't wear anything with buttons - I am...*ahem* well-endowded in the chest area so things either look like a bin bag or gape and flash everyone.

I don't have a picture but today I've gone for black leggings with a black and white striped sweater. I'm also wearing flower patterned sneakers that don't go *at all* but they are great for driving in. I hate driving in ballet flats and changing shoes just seems like too much effort!

I love the sandals too! They're surprisingly comfortable and have a tiny bit of a heel which is quite nice without making me feel overdressed. :)

Your outfit sounds cute!! I'm wearing an orange shirt with black shorts and probably flip flops when I go outside.

During the summer I was wearing a suit 6/7 days. I like that because it takes the uncertainty away. I pick the colour of the suit (black, charcoal, grey, navy), then a shirt and tie. Quick, not much thought required.

That is one of the benefits of being a guy; usually takes us two minutes (maybe three when we are picky) to figure out what to wear. :)

Ha, I wish it were that simple for us women. I suppose it could be if I decided to have only a couple colors in my wardrobe, but that not only entails getting rid of what I have, but buying all new stuff in those couple colors. Then it's also boring and doesn't change very much. It feels to me like people would notice if I stopped wearing anything but 3 colors. But maybe I'm wrong about that. Meh.

I only wear three colors. They notice.

I had to go to the shops today and I wore these trousers:

They are waaaaaay more patterned than most of my clothes but they're sooooo comfy. It was gloomy when I went out so I wore a off-the-shoulder black tshirt. Of course the second I started walking home it got really hot and I suddenly wished I had worn shorts.

Today was black suit, light blue striped shirt, grey tie. Yesterday was black suit, light blue striped shirt, blue check tie. Next time will be blue suit, grey shirt, navy check tie. Easy. :)

Okay, this is weird for me, but here goes:

Today I wore a black spandex-like, ankle-length skirt underneath a black satiny knee-length dress with a Chinese-like gold-black pattern down the front (down the front like a scapular hangs on a Trappist, you know, in the middle). And over that, a black cotton wrap. Plus some dangly bronze earrings with white beads.

I put off wearing that dress for weeks cuz I just bought it and the first time I wore it I wasn't sure "it was me", but when I finally put it on again this morning and looked in the full-length mirror, I thought, "beaver dam. I look great." ;)

Ah, then black is one of your three colors, I see! Sounds very pretty! :)
