dlz7486
I know that now you are supposed to bow to acknowledge the holy presence of Christ before you recieve the Eucharist. But should you bow only before the host, or before the cup too? I'm always confused, sometimes people bow solely before the host and not the cup. Some do both. Pio Nono
JMJ 6/22 - Twelfth Tuesday dlz7486, As far as I am aware, there is no clear directive as to whether we should bow before receiving Our Lord in the host and in the Precious Blood, or if we should only bow before receiving the host. I would suggest that you do whatever you feel most comfortable doing; for instance, I bow before receiving both. If I'm mistaken, though, I ask someone to correct me speedily. Hope this helps.
