Guest Guest
if someone has a sexual addiction, it's obviously started out small and gotten to a point where it cannot be controlled any longer. but what if the three conditions for mortal sin aren't met (full knowledge of the severity of the sin, free choice to sin or not to sin, and that the sin is infact of grave matter) because the person doesn't consider themselves to have the freedom not to commit whatever sexual act is in question? is the addiciton mortaly sinful, or is the action mortaly sinful? BLAZEr
We cannot judge the state of your soul here on the internet. Even our priests (Cappie, Fr. Pontifex) would not be able to do it. You need to go to Confession. Confess these sins (they are objectively sins, even if you aren't competely culpable for them). And let the priest give you advice about what to do from there. He will help you to understand if you are in mortal sin or not. He will help you get out of the addiction. We'll pray for you!
