Julie
Okay, so I wildly overestimated how many złoty I would need during WYD and the days after. My friends and I had meant to donate the leftovers while in Poland, but the morning of our leaving (running across Kraków at dawn, missing a train, almost missing a flight) was a little more hectic than expected, and that didn't happen. I looked at exchanging back, now that I'm in CA, but, for a number of reasons, I prefer not to do so. Someone suggested that international charities, which recieve donations in a bunch of currencies anyhow, might be happy to have some złoty- and I would be able to mail a donation pretty easily to some office in the US. That sounds nice to me (if it would actually work). I've been looking around the Internet for some Catholic charity that accepts donations from several countries, but I'm not really sure of what's out there. I though I'd ask the phamily if you guys had any suggestions. ps WYD was amesome. So. Very. Beautiful.
