Abbatial Election

The Trappist monks of the Abbey of the Holy Cross (Berryville, VA) will be electing a new abbot, probably Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. 

The current abbot has been diagnosed with a long-term illness and is resigning after eighteen years at the helm. The population of the monastery is dwindling (slowly). I'm sure all involved would appreciate prayers for the Holy Spirit to enlighten the monks in this election, and guide them in their future.
