Newest Abbey in the US

Our Lady of Guadalupe monastery, in Pecos, NM was raised to an abbey last month. The monks are Olivetan Benedictines, which order also has monasteries in Arizona and Louisiana, plus a convent of nuns in Arkansas.   One of the monks at Guadalupe is a Phatmasser, Staretz, who made his solemn vows recently.
