Worsening Symptoms and Insurance Problems

I just found out this week that my company is switching insurance providers and the new plan does not cover the gastroenterology group I've been seeing.  This is not good news as I was planning to switch to another GI doctor in the same group as I am not happy with the current one.  This also comes at an inconvenient time due to the fact that my symptoms are continuing to get worse and I have no answers yet.  The GI group is one of the very best in the area and they have access to highly specialized testing as well as research.  To see someone outside of the group is like taking a step down and I'm worried about the kind of care I'll receive.  About the only way to see one of the doctors in the GI group on my new insurance is to see them at a cancer center, but, thankfully, that is not necessary.  I'm very disappointed.  Please say some prayers that I can find a new GI doctor when my insurance switches over on September 1st.  Open enrollment is next week.  I'm planning to talk to my PCD tomorrow when I see her and see if she can recommend anyone on the new plan.
