WhiteLily
Anybody have a neighbor living next door who is uncharitable to you? How do handle situations where they called the police because my dog went into his yard (only one time) and throws giant tree branches in your yard? I am tempted to do a lot if things, but this was the final straw for me. I'm so glad I'm moving.
<3 PopeFrancis
Just think. If you are moving, you really don't have to handle it. For the tail end, remember I'm moving, I'm moving, I'm moving away. Yippee. I don't have to deal with your calling the cops and your branches. I'm moving, also. This morning, before Holy Mass, I saw the neighbors' dogs. Three labs: one chocolate, one black, one beige. They make their rounds in the morning when everyone is leaving. No one knows or cares really or vice versa. I'm going to miss them. Think of Mary's fortitude and endurance at the end. Think of the reward - no more of those neighbors.
dUSt
Have you ever went over and talked to your neighbor?
<3 PopeFrancis
It would be better to make peace at least if possible.

My husband just wanted to let it go. He is going through a lot of issues, so I'm trying to meet him where he is at. I just have to remember, hurt people hurt people. dUSt
I once lived next to a crazy person. Literally, he was a crazy person. He eventually moved out of the house into some type of institution, and his house was bulldozed down because of the condition of what was inside (I never seen him take trash out for the 3 years I lived next to him). I generally just ignored him, although would make a friendly wave if I saw him outside--which was usually ignored, with an occasional response of pointing a stick at me like it was a rifle. My mom lived in the house before me, and she's also a crazy person, albeit, high functioning crazy person. She would actually go over and talk to him and listen to his stories about how the government was trying to kill him, and how he used to be a top secret scientist, etc. The good news was that after his house was bulldozed it left a nice empty lot next to my house. Which was nice. Fun days!
