Requiescat in pace, soror M (Tragic end to a young life)

I will leave out names, but please pray for a family at my parish who lost their daughter to suicide last week. The mom works with my mom and the daughter (age 20, eldest of three) was my sister's classmate (and friend) for nine years (in elementary). My sister and sweet M had not been in regular contact since going to college, but I know she had a big impact on my sister's young life. They independently battled several of the same demons in adolescence, and I know that bonded them in a way nothing else could have. We had a funeral Mass for sweet M today. The church was filled up to the brim (over capacity and flowing out of every door) and colored brightly, per the family's request. She leaves behind a younger sister (18) and a younger brother (14). Naturally, her parents are beyond broken. The whole community is. She was the brightest light suffering through the most terrible darkness.

Please pray for the repose of her soul, peace in the hearts of her family, and comfort to our community grieving this devastating loss. This is not the first loss of its kind our community has faced, but it never gets easier.
