Colonoscopy Results

I had my colonoscopy done on Wednesday.  While the doctor did not visualize any active inflammation during the procedure, he took many biopsies of the mucosa and removed a small polyp and sent them to pathology.  I am now awaiting the pathology report to see what it says as inflammation can be microscopic in nature (microscopic colitis).  Please say some prayers that the results come back soon and that the doctor and I are able to work together to figure out my symptoms.  He is adamant that he thinks it's IBS, but I've had that for 13 years and these symptoms are worse than I've ever experienced.
