little2add
In our own world today – so especially today – we need to be reminded that everyone is our neighbor – even the enemy; even the immigrant; even the person who is different than us; even the person we don’t like or who doesn’t like us. They are our neighbor and we must offer them mercy. We must overcome the tendency to think in terms of “us” and “them” and instead heed the command of Jesus to, “Go and do likewise” – to offer mercy, to treat everyone with respect, to be neighbor to the world. ' Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Kia ora
Thats so true. Just today i was reading my friend who is politically far right, if not fascist (i mean he reads neo nazi Holocaust denial stuff) nd i got angry and wanted to hate him but he's my friend and he thinks im crazy for being a far leftist as well. And we get aling well when we dont mention politics or muslims or whatever. Hate is a villanous emotion and poisons everything.
