Robin
Secular Institutes are institutes of consecrated life. It is a vocation but not of religious life. IS this page an appropriate place to talk about this vocation?
Guest
Welcome Robin. I can't answer your question, but I know that other members will be able to do so- and will do so given time. I am in Australia (4.15pm) and probably the bulk of members are not yet awake.

Robin
I am from India and a member of a secular institute. It is a choice which I made many, many years ago and a choice I do not regret

beatitude
Welcome Robin. I'm in formation with a secular institute founded in the spirituality of Bl. Charles de Foucauld, the Jesus Caritas Fraternity. It's only five years since I began writing to them and two years since I knew it was for me, so it's all quite new to me still. I'm always excited when other secular institute members pop up like this, as we are quite a hidden group. (I like to think of us as God's guerrillas. Obviously not the violent kind.) Do you want to say a bit about your own institute and its spirituality?
