Gallbladder Scan Completed

My gallbladder scan was completed yesterday morning.  The tech said my doctor would have the results between 24-48 business hours.  My next visit with my GI doc is on Tues, 6/28, which is where we will discuss the results of both tests and discuss the next step.  I already know that I do not have ulcers or H. pylori, so I don't have to worry about the endoscopy.  I'm 99% sure that the next step will be discussing meeting with a surgeon to have a cholecystectomy.  While the medicine is helping somewhat with the spasms, they are still there and I had spasms all afternoon.  Sitting upright can be somewhat painful, but I'm forced to sit at a desk to do my job.  I try to get up and walk around, but I can still feel it.  Before, I was able to limit my food choices to prevent attacks, but now, it seems like healthy things cause problems.  My friend at work who had her gallbladder removed said that even salads caused her gallbladder attacks.  I'm so ready to have the thing out and get back to life without pain.
