Sister is very miserable. I visited her last night and she was frustrated because she had received no results from her tests. She now also has a problem with her foot, which was X-rayed, but it looks like gout. I feel bad for her because the independence she still has is being compromised; she knows what she wants, but people (doctors and sisters) seem to think they know better (sometimes they really do, but not all the time). I'm hoping I can visit her on my own one day, as I have been going with another sister. I get the sense she feels comfortable confiding in me, and maybe she'll convey some of what she's feeling.
