FilleDeStFrancois
Catholic or otherwise. I recently came across a post here where someone mentioned Librivox (app for free audiobooks- public domain books like the ones found on Project Gutenberg's website). I LOVE this app now! : ] There are even a few Catholic books like Story of a Soul and a biography of St. Theresa of Avila. IgnatiusofLoyola
I think I may be the last person on earth to say this, but I don't have any apps. It isn't so much because I qualify as a "dinosaur" (although I do), but because I don't own an iPhone or android. I'm homebound, so although I have a cheap mobile phone for emergencies, I don't really need a "mobile device." Not to mention that most mobile devices seem to have been invented by (and intended to be used by) people who can read small print easily, with hands that are agile enough to read/type with small buttons. However, I've realized recently that I'm missing out on a lot by not having apps. Does anyone here have experience with, and/or recommendations for software that allows the use of android apps on a PC? Thanks in advance! Sorry, I hope my question doesn't hijack your thread. Good luck!
Nihil Obstat
Musei. Lets me have my background and lock screen change every half hour or whenever I tell it to, to a random image from either an online source or a specified folder. I have a folder on my phone on which I collect my favorite pieces of art. Really good pick-me-up during the day to see such beautiful art, and since it changes frequently it never gets stale. Good luck! You may benefit from a larger screen Android tablet. Unfortunately an Android OS on a PC is... very difficult, at best.

Although I read about several applications, they seemed "makeshift" and raised "red flags" for me. Glad to have my intuition confirmed.
Nihil Obstat
I am familiar with a 12 inch Galaxy Note Pro tablet. I bet there are bigger ones here and there, but I do not know of them.

Filled with all sorts of different things, from the Divine Office to papal documents, information on Sacraments, verses, catechism, etc. It even has Latin prayers and every Vatican II document.
