OnlySunshine
I had my upper GI endoscopy completed this morning with no complications. The doctor found no evidence of ulcers and there is no damage seen my esophagus, which is good since I have acid reflux. He had to do a biopsy of some erythematous mucosa since he wanted to check for H. pylori, but everything else was normal. He agrees that it is my gallbladder - especially since the medication he gave me specifically for the gallbladder is helping. My next scan is the HIDA scan which I still have not scheduled as I am waiting on the imaging referral center to call me back. Please pray it gets done soon so I can start treatment, which will likely involve removal of the gallbladder (cholecystectomy).
