Bed bugs

I wish I was going on vacation. I broke my husband's car to the tune of $900 so our beach vacation went bye bye. However, the good news is I don't seem to be getting anymore bites because I'm sleeping in long sleeves and pantaloons. I'm still the only one who's been bit! My husband says I must be sleep walking at night and going outside and rolling around in the garden. Hmmmmmmm.

Lovely.   We have biiting insects, birds, reptiles, and fish.

Where will you be vacationing?

Avon skin so soft is a good mosquitos repellant.   Check if it's safe for the little one.  And don't forget sunscreen.  We have lots of AC too!

We're going to Universal Studios and Treasure Island. My mom and teenaged brother have been to Universal Studios before and claim that there weren't any mosquitos, but I don't believe them. Those bugs really like me as it is, so I'm smuggling in repellant no matter what they say.

We'll have to look out for alligators too.

Mosquitos are mostly a dusk insect, you shouldn't be bothered in the day.  Some people, I guess due to body chemistry, are more attractive to mosquitos.   Sun screen is a must, though.

Harry Potter is reportedly amesome.   If yet to see it here, only in England. The two things, Diagon Alley and Hogwarts can tie the whole day, depending on you enthusiasm.   My grown kids have been a number of times.

Treasure Island the city?  Beaching?  You need to visit Tarpon Springs for the Greek culture and less than an hour to Ybor for Cuban / Latino. Tampa consistently has the worlds best Cuban sandwiches and stellar food. Bienvenido!

(Alligator danger is over rated, but certainly not fake.  Very sad.  You won't see them at saltwater beach.)
