Aust Elections - seeking the informed-conscience vote

The ACCB (Aust Catholic Bishops' Conference) have put out a statement about an informed Catholic-conscience vote re our elections now some 4 weeks off: ACBC : "Vote for The Voiceless"   They have been careful to state that they will not inform Catholics on how to vote........which leaves me a-floundering.  Someone please tell me what to do!!!

I try to stay in touch with what our various parties and politicians are saying but it gets pretty complex for a very real amateur - especially in the context of our Australian electoral system overall, wherein I can find it all thoroughly confusing to know just how to vote.  Not only this, but I have a tendency to mistrust political promises and statements.  Often they can remain just that - promises and statements with non eventuality/non action most often written off by passing the buck around somewhere else or other and so the buck goes round and round compounded by jargon.......nothing done nor achieved.  Also, we Aussies do seem to be drifting towards a very real tenancy to rapidly change Prime Ministers and with that, a likely change of focus and priorities from those for which the elected Prime Minister had advocated and perhaps had even been elected.

Last night, I watched a popular program in Australia : "Q & A" from Tamworth and the coal seam gas question and encroachments on prime Australian agricultural land.  As the political etc. rhetoric and the buck with it went round and round, I eventually must have fallen asleep.   I am sure that those in Tamworth and the likes might have understood far more of the jargon especially than I could. The subject is their livelihood, their survival on the land.........and I sure could not understand probably a lot of it rather frequently.

And then earlier I had watched "Four Corners" :

I found it shocking to insight just how our indigenous people living in remote rural areas are being totally ripped off by millions of dollars by con men - and without seemingly any type of address nor pursuit by our government.  This type of fraud of our indigenous people has been reported on by Four Corners a few times over the years and yet it seems that nothing still really concrete and productive whatsoever has been done.  Even the federal aboriginal politician commenting, completely lost me in jargon.

As an Australian or an informed commentator, which party would you be voting for to give a Catholic "vote for the voiceless" - and why?.........links if possible please:)

Blinded by science......................H E L P !
