Better analogy: I saw a documentaary once where Buddhist monks made an elabortate pattern by painting on some sand, then a little while later they destroyed it by mixing the sand, I believe to symbolize the impermanence o the earth. Her recieving Communion would be like some loud obnoxious American comming into the monastery and destroying the pattern himself.
