justfran
My parents are Buddhist and I have not yet been baptised into the Catholic faith (I am just about to start RCIA). The thing is, my family is planning a trip to Japan to visit my sister (who is working there) and chances are, they won't let me go alone to Mass while I'm there, because I'll be by myself in a completely unfamiliar country (I'm 17) and won't understand anything they say. Would it be a mortal sin if I chose not to go, because of this, and instead looked up any homilies or sermons that priests have given on the Net (even if it's a day late in japan?)? I don't think my ssiter or her boyfriend would really be able to take me either... Edited June 20, 2004 by justfran
