I think your bass is a little too much especially towards the end of each measure...takes away from the illness of the sample...too much bass....but the bass is good....just tone it down...the rest of the tweaks were good.

kiel talked about a chorus.. to this effect. make it rhyme my last line...

Kiel - I AM:

Paul - I AM:

Flip - I AM: The Spirit giving you daily breath

All - I AM simply I AM

Kiel - I AM:

Paul - I AM:

Flip - I AM: the One who gives you the power to pray

All - I AM simply I AM

ok dudes... i recorded my berse and the chorus to give us an idea on how it will sound

i took some liberty with the production, so tell me if you dont like the arrangement of the beat paul.... also, i left a whole verse length on the end of the song so yall can practice... the verse is actually 20 bars - becuase that is how long mine is, so if your verse is 4 bars short of the chorus break, thats why...

Hey Flip, I think instead of you doing the lines during the hook, I could make a dope-a-licious scratch phrase at those points... Whatdya think?

kiels got the better idea...

that would make a great way to end the song... Dust, you gotta come up with some DOPE samples brother!

I wasn't thinking about scratching the hook... only between a few "I AMs". I got a sample of Orson Welles (Dust from Mars ILL samples his voice heavily) saying "man on this earth". I was cutting it up between the "I AMs" and it was sounding fairly tight.

yeah... but "I AM: Man from this earth" is not the idea we are getting across... we are saying that we are God (but not blasphemy)
