For Some Patients

I would like to ask prayers for some of my patients. For F, who is very upset and frustrated as his discharge from hospital might be delayed; and for me to become better at managing his more challenging behaviour. For H, that she may feel God's love in her life and be given relief from the urge to self-harm, and that she and her mum will be able to have a good relationship. For D, that he will be given the strength to keep away from street drugs, and that he will be able to establish a rapport with me (right now he's having paranoid delusions about me). For K, that she will learn to manage difficult emotions in a positive way. For W and C, newly admitted patients who are frightened and struggling. For all my colleagues as we try to nurse these young people to health. Finally, for me to be mindful of Christ's presence in our ward and to radiate it to others.
