Good news at Our Lady of Solitude

I received correspondence today from Our Lady of Solitude Monastery in Arizona -----formerly the "Phoenix Five" sent out from OLAM in Hanceville.  Sr. Marie Andre', PCPA, who was the House Superior, is now Mother Marie Andre', Abbess.

The  Monastery has just been granted its autonomy from the Holy See and is now canonically and completely independent from the motherhouse, OLAM.

Sr. Marie St. Paul, the blood sister of the Mother Abbess, was appointed Vicar, and Sr. Marie Fidelis is a council member.  That leaves their Junior Professed sister and their Novice as the two remaining Sisters without a formal position -- which makes complete sense canonically as they are not yet eligible to hold an office.
