Sickness, work, and other things

I'm flying to the US very soon to participate in a research symposium. As is its custom right before I get on a horrible long-haul flight, my body has decided to indulge in a temperature, a sore throat, and a spot of diarrhoea. I get airsick enough as it is. Please pray that I recover in time and the flight is pleasant.

Pray for my job. I've made a couple of serious mistakes and my perfectionism/tendency to self-criticism means that I struggle to move on from mistakes with humility. Pray that I receive this grace and that I continue to learn from my job and to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I work with.

Finally, pray for me to trust God and leave the future to him.
