For missionaries in buddhist countries

Sunday, I spoke with a priest who was a missionary in a buddhist country. He told us a story about an old lady... She was sick, her husband dying of cancer, many of her children died in infancy, etc... She came to see a buddhist monk, who told her "you must have been a very bad person in another life... You are being punished of your past sins...". She could not stop crying when she told it to this priest... Also, he told us how many poors are dying in the streets, because all the donations goes to the monks... And how little boys are send at a very young age in monasteries where corporal punishment is horrible... He asked us to pray for many missionaries in buddhist countries, "to show them that they are not responsible of their sufferings... That they are loved by Christ".
