Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
If a pope is going to be the anti Christ than hasn't the gates of hell then prevailed against the church which Jesus says will never happen. Though as far as I'm aware there are 3 popes whom the church would in hindsight consider as being evil popes, this I was told by a priest, but not anti Christ,. One can be deceived and not be anti Christ. If you watch secular movies, television or listen to non Christian music and this actually means most of the church in the west I actually think your deceived but not anti Christ, I could be wrong about being deceived but def not anti christ, but just an example of of how you can be deceived but not anti Christ. We can be deceived on just about any given topic to varying degrees, even a pope, in fact I'd say every pope in the history of the church has been deceived at some stage or another by at least 1 particular matter, whether they realised it before they died or not I don't know, does it mean there going to hell, I doubt it. We can only hope and PRAY PRAY PRAY that the pope and holy magisterium are never deceived so much as to send the whole church into some kind of schism. We must pray for the magisterium of the catholic church daily. If every catholic did this daily than I'm quiet certain that no error could be serious enough as to utterly deceive the layity into loosing there salvation, if that where even possible anyway. On the last days the holy roman catholic church teaches various stuff about it but tells us to not take it literally and that it is a very difficult book to interperate. A priest told me you actually need much training to be able to read it correctly and that basically it is a story designed to have the persecuted church during those great persecutions to focus there eyes on heaven. He could be wrong I don't know, but he also says without a doubt there will be a 2nd coming. This is all just my opinion with some insight from a couple of priests I know, I or we could be wrong. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Also I was told and if it is true and I believe it to be so but check with a few priests and layity that you trust, but a priest told me that even if the priest serving mass is a heretic that Jesus will still come to the faithful in the Holy Eucharist. So I'm guessing it is the same even if the pope, most of the magisterium and layity where deceived Christ would still come to those who are faithful to the truth in the Holy Eucharist, so of course we keep encouraging people into the fold but alert them to the fact that there will be goats and wolves in sheeps clothing but that darkness will never overcome the church and that as long as they stay faithful to Christ, holy scripture and sacred tradition that they will be fine. Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
Yeah just stay faithful to the Holy Bible, the Holy Magesterium(remembering that there are varying degrees of infalibilty coming from the Holy Magesterium), the Pope Ex-Cathedra and the Holy Sacraments( remembering that the holy magisterium teaches that only a catholic in a state of grace may receive the Host so lets all please go to confession when needed, before receiving the eucharist.) Okay that all I got on the end of the world, lol. Oh and remember Jesus says each day has enough worries of it's own. No use worrying about the past or future, it is fruitless because The presence of God is found today, not tomorrow or yesterday, in this precious moment I find God and the ability to stand firm under adversary. Guest
Hey Tab hope you're doing well. I have repeatedly said and quoted Saints and Clergy who have said that this pope turned antipope will be the False Prophet from Revelations and he will deceive the world into worshiping the Antichrist just as the book of Revelations says he will. The False Prophet will join apostate catholicism with Islam and form a new one world religion. Obviously the true Catholic Church will remain but it will most likely be very small at this point. Just to be clear I don't feel the Church is going into apostasy at the present moment. Although I hear it all the time. It could be centuries away and I know a true part of the Church will remain no matter how small. I feel spiritually nourished every time I go to Mass. And that's usually without even receiving Communion. I always feel God's presence at Mass. But it seems that at some point all of this will happen and some very respected Catholics seem to agree with this and state it as fact. Papist
Josh, This is nothing new. I suggest you stay away from these "blogs/ministries" and "these Catholics" that are spitting out this age old silliness.

Guest
I just find this all very interesting. The quotes. The consensus that the False Prophet will be a Catholic Bishop. I see how it's easy to remain Catholic even knowing this. I trust in Jesus and pray the Rosary. I'm not worried. It's still bizarre though but so is this Edited February 13, 2016 by Guest
