Try working in a parish, where people tend to try to set you up with their sons and you're like errrrmmmm no thank you I need to keep my love life out of my workplace Kthanks. So now the plan is work away my youth until I'm 40 and by then I'll have my student debt paid off so I'll find the closest Benedictine monastery that will take me. Or work my way up to a seat of power in the new world order at the diocese and just work work work until I die. Now excuse me I have to go teach some first graders about sacraments. try teaching 8th graders a religious ed class ! That was interesting, entertaining and sad all wrapped up in one, good kids, but most are of the normal mind set of 8th graders, mass is boring, everything is boring, the material i had to use was horrible so i would usually find ways to make things entertaining, then i made plenty of mistakes of having an open discussion, and i forgot how tech savy kids are now from kids as in the 80s , and more adept to knowing what is going on in society at there age as a whole, the entire " yolo fad, topped with the sex, drugs, rock n roll mentality of raging hormones and of course " being in love ". it just became an exercise at times to just not have them burn the room down. Then to have kids with major attitude problems, and you can't talk to them as if they are adults... can be frustrating. I might get back into it some day as it was beneficial in a lot of ways. I wish we could have gotten funding though for youthcat books and the study guides instead of the weird serial killer books.

BG45
Ave Maria Singles is okay; a one time fee instead of monthly. Plus they give a student discount. However, a lot of ghost accounts tend to stay around after people find someone or give up. Plus it doesn't have algorithms or tests to try and match you with people; you're searching on your own and they'll give you a "similar to" bar on the bottom of the page, which essentially is a list of people the same age as the person you're looking at. I've been in one relationship and 1 other date through it, but not found "the one" so far. I tried it, because of the one time fee, and also because I know two couples who have met their spouse on it.

superblue
there should be a dating site for people who think dating websites are total bs. totally free, AN for once, I am going to have the best Valentines Day EVER ! TWD MARATHON, all zombies, all gore, all amesome. there will be chicken wings, and an amesome food galore, no stupid heart shaped candies, no hippie flowers, no lame love cards, no poetry, nothing that has been commercialized about the day. The only thing that surpasses this is the Valentines day massacre . but that is kinda becoming folk noir nostalgia now. Even though it is history. ( FFS I just busted out laughing so hard, listening to the cacuses thingie on tv, in Iowa , the clown that one said I'd like thank Almighty God; hilarious, politicians thanking God for anything has to be the biggest farce ever ) side rant over. But yeah looking forward to Feb 14th. An on New Years eve, I never watch a ball drop on tv, I run out into the middle of the street at midnight and drop my pantaloons an yell out something disturbing about balls in general. I really don't like when people try to set me up or treat me with pity because I'm single. They mean well.. so I try not to get annoyed. Or sometimes people find out that I'm single and say something to the effect of "oh don't worry someday you'll find someone!". Again they mean well... but it's amusing to me how everyone assumes I want to date (in my case, I don't). But I can't enter religious life with my student debt. So my options are somehow similar to yours - but who knows maybe a way would open for me with consecrated life. I try to have hope and trust in God and I think as long as I'm doing His Will that's all I need to know. Suffering or no suffering... as long as it's God's Will. You have to email them about it though, it's not one of the options during sign up, but they'll be happy to help you with it. (Or they were when they did mine 3 years ago.) And I too am a bad Catholic, because I'll be seeing Deadpool on Valentine's Day like Ammpax and BM.
