4588686
If I have a gun is it moral for me to store it in my friend Steve's garage if I am very safe and ask his permission first? CC: @Winchester
PhuturePriest
Only if you promise it to keep it loaded and store it in unpredictably hot and cold temperatures, preferably facing the door.

Credo in Deum
Are you storing it in a gun safe in Steve's garage, or is it going to be hanging on a piece of cork board next to the hand saws? Immaterial. Hasan is a plebe. It is inherently immoral for him to own a weapon. Only members of the political or enforcement classes should be armed. CC: @Winchester 1. Is Steve licensed to possess and use a firearm of the class that you are storing there? Check your state regulations. If he is not, then your creating the risk of liability for him by doing so, even with his permission, would not be moral. 2. What do you mean by "very safe?" Do you mean that the weapon is stored unloaded and with the ammunition elsewhere, with the safety on, and preferably in a safe or a locked box so as to diminish the risk of theft, as you were instructed in the NRA class I'm presuming you took in order to receive your license to carry? He is definitely well licensed to take the gun that I'm storing. . I mean that I will be very precise and deliberate in storing the gun and make sure that at no point he is uncomfortable with what is happening. Nihil Obstat
We already went over this regarding organ storage. Now we see the truth come out. You never needed all the space required to store something as big as an organ. Steve's garage only had to accommodate your rather diminutive firearm. But the answer is the same either way. Steve's garage has a serious gas leak and nobody can go inside. That is why he put that Do Not Enter sign on the door. Your past history with Steve notwithstanding, he decided to turn his life around and finally start keeping his garage clean.
