Quietfire
Likos made it clear to me that he wouldnt be posting here any longer. I doubt very seriously it was personal. Likos (to his credit) is a wonderfully dedicated Catholic whom I believe would gladly "lay his neck on the block for papal supremacy". And I am not saying that no one here (Catholic) wouldnt do that. Its just that I spent some time getting to know him. He can be gruff and intense, and there are people that are taken aback by that. I have gotten to know him through personal emails and find that his charm is the same whether here or there. He isnt gonna change, but some think that he is rather rash when he isnt. He loves the Church. So much so that sometimes I have observed that some here think he is attacking. He isnt. He is only defending. I found that in getting to know him, I realize that he has "decreased, allowing Him to increase". He is so profoundly in love not only with Jesus, but with the Church Jesus left us, and because the Church has lead him to Christ in such a deep and personal way, he would defend her to death. Isnt that what every Catholic would want? I cannot even begin to imagine the difficulty of the job for the Moderators here. I commend each and every one of you for your patience and guidance. Its at times a thankless job, but a labor of love for you all and again, Kudos to you for the undertaking. I am also grateful that although I am not a Catholic YET, I am not considered a Protestant either. Yes, I am Catholic by desire. Everyone here, Catholics and Non-Catholics have taught me alot. But I have noticed that many Non-Catholics come here not with the intent of learning and understanding Catholicism, but simply to attack. Albiet it is done in a way that on the surface isnt a straight out attack, but done in a more cunning way. And that bothers me. As this board grows, I see it more and more. And I have only been here since April. (lurking since December) It was clear to me when I signed up here that if I wished to learn about and understand Catholicism, then to feel free to sign up. Which I did, because quite honestly, I had no understanding of Catholicism but wanted so desparately to learn about on my own level. I honestly think though that some joined this board simply to annoy, disrupt, and all-around try to goat others into an arguement. This needs to stop. There is no reason for the attitudes that fly around this board, no reason for some to act like its a "my daddy is better than your daddy" fight. If a Catholic states a point and a Protestant belief is different. Then simply state that and why, then ask why the Catholic believes in his or her way of thought. Without judgement. With an open mind. Then listen (this goes for both sides) If you imagine that you are speaking with say, for instance, your grandmother, or your own young daughter or son, would you say some of things you say? Or would you reword them so they sound a bit more charitable? And open? Try it. I guarrantee that the dialog will be much more fruitful for both sides. Let's all stop shoving, and start pulling together. Ok? Peace. I must admit, I didnt see Likos' post before I posted mine. He's still lurking, thank God. MorphRC
I am sorry, I will not publicly post what I edited off. I took it off for a reason. Your own words were disrespectful to the Pope the quotes from past Popes were not, if you recall I did leave the quotes posted. I will, however, be praying for you. God Bless!
Actually you deleted all the Church quotes to. I remember EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED..lol
Jake Huether
Likos! Dude, you were one of the people who got me hooked here at Phatmass. I do wish you would reconsider, and post more here. We need the likes of you. You are sorely missed! My prayers go with you. God bless you.

The 2 posts I edited are on the first page of the thread on the following link. Your other posts on the second page were edited by dUSt. Trust me, when I say what I edited I KNOW what I edited. -_- http://phorum.phatmass.com/index.php?showtopic=12937&hl=
MorphRC
Lol..That page was full of red Edit msgs, NONE OF THOSE quotes were there after my warning! Coz I remember get seriously 'ANNOYED'..better word that what Im thinking.. ----- Pope Hadrian II (A. D. 867-872) "The first thing required for salvation is to keep the norm of correct faith and to deviate in no way from what the Fathers have established, because it is not possible to lay aside the words of our Lord Jesus Christ who said, `You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church.' These words are proved true by their effects because, in the Apostolic See, the Catholic religion has always been preserved immaculate." (Council Constantinople IV) --- ALL THAT WAS EDITED RIGHT OUT! IcePrincessKRS
Both pages are the same as before. The rules have not changed (they state NEGATIVE criticism, you weren't giving constructive or positive criticism). dUSt has always held Catholics to a higher standard and has stated so many times over. Maybe you didn't understand the rules entirely? Either way, I guess now that you have decided your not Catholic for the time being it doesn't matter and you won't be held to the same standard (read higher standard or double standard, which ever you prefer) that we held you to before. Jake Huether
The second page is the same as before.. Anyways Im getting sick of this, the rules changed.
Plenty of people post both sides of the story without getting edited. Look at Mulls and Bro Adam (pre-Catholic). Raven. Random Proddy. You can post questions, objections, etc. and have a healthy and long lasting conversation. It's been done. And it continues to be done. You aren't being singled out. It's pretty darn hard, if you ask me, to get edited. Even harder to get banned. So, that being said. Just write your things down on "word" before you post them. If they get edited, revise what you wrote so that it is less inflamitory (whatever) and repost it. My suggestion. Don't post anything without writing it first, re-reading it a few hours later, making corrections, and then posting it. Lots of people write things that they regret simply because they are caught up in the moment. Those are the types of posts that become red-lettered. If you are good at writing things down with a cool head even "in the moment" then you are golden. But if you are like me, and like most of us, and get all flustered and write things you don't mean, then it is better to just chill on it. It will save you the embarassment of getting edited - and it will also increase your credibility and honor among the Pham. Just a suggestion. God bless. jasJis
The first person to get totally banned was "Sacerdotus" who claimed to be a Seminarian. MorphRC, If you can't figure out how to post without getting edited, then don't post. I'm actually tired of seeing you whine about it.
HomeTeamFamily
i may sound like a cynic, but it seems mighty unfruitful to debate stuff that happend in previous posts......its not going to change anything that did happen so it really wouldnt matter what was edited out or why, just move on and get over it
IcePrincessKRS
I think I agree with you Lanky... I was just trying to clarify (once again) why I did what I did, not get in a debate over it.
RandomProddy
If you can't figure out how to post without getting edited, then don't post.
It does boil down to it being that simple. It's not that difficult really. And if you do feel like whining about it, at least do it in private like I do
