The PlanedParenthood  lawsuit accuses the CMP and its officers of violating federal racketeering laws, as well as both federal and state laws against invasion of privacy and trespassing.

The 65-page complaint alleged the group accessed private abortion conferences and meetings in California, Maryland and Florida.

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Planned Parenthood filed a federal lawsuit on Thursday arguing that a group acted illegally when it secretly recorded videos alleging the women's health organization profited from selling fetal tissue from abortions.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in San Francisco against anti-abortion group the Center for Medical Progress alleges conspiracy and fraud among other violations in connection with the videos.

The videos, which were released by the Center for Medical Progress in July 2015, sparked widespread controversy by purporting to show Planned Parenthood officials trying to sell aborted fetal tissue.

Under federal law, donated human fetal tissue may be used for research, but profiting from its sale is prohibited.

In response, Daleiden released a statement that said “game on.”

“I look forward to deposing all the CEOs, Medical Directors, and their co-conspirators who participated in Planned Parenthood's illegal baby body parts racket,” he said.

Daleiden, who has become a national figure in the abortion debate this year, has released 10 videos featuring secretly recorded footage of Planned Parenthood staff members discussing fetal tissue donated from abortions.

I really am confused by the indictment. Unfortunately, there is no coverage of this which seems to go over exactly what the jury/prosecution had against David Daleiden and co. I've seen plenty of stories which point out that someone in the DA's office is on PP's board of directors, that this DA earlier was accused of not coming down hard enough on PP in a case, and other similar things, but nothing about what sort of "evidence" there actually is.

And before someone replies, "That's because there isn't any!" I would to believe that's not the case.
