Saints with scrupulosity

I'm making a list of Saints who struggled with scrupulosity. Blesseds or Servants of God can also go on the list. :)

So far I found out that St Alphonsus Ligouri, St Therese, Ven. Léonie Martin, I think St Padre Pio in his younger years ? Hopefully that's correct.

I also saw in a book description about scrupulosity that St Jane Francis de Chantal had scrupulosity at some point, and I'm wondering is this true?? that would be really interesting because she was chosen as my "patron Saint" for this year on phatmass and I could use help in that area :)

Is there anyone else?

thanks! God bless!

Clare~Therese

St. Therese of Lisieux did.

St. Faustina did not, as far as I know, but she could still be helpful to you because she said she would (I'm paraphrasing) "draw aside the veil of heaven to convince doubting souls of God's goodness."

What are scruples?

Its basically when a person feels like everything is a grave sin. I don't mean literally everything of course but venial sins or imperfections feel like grave sins. I've heard of various causes, maybe it depends, but its some sort of spiritual disorder..  Some Saints had it as a trial. Obedience to a confessor is how you heal it.

Its an anxiety based sort of thing
