Hello everyone. I have been discerning for a few years and am currently talking to different communities including the RSM's and a few Dominican Orders. Any and all suggestions for discernment and books are appreciated.

Hi! Welcome!

One of my top suggestions for books is "And You are Christ's". If you haven't read it before do so and if you have, read it again!

I'm admittedly biased but my daughter just entered the Apostles of the Sacred Heart.  They have a wonderful charism - are an amazing group of women and combine many of the more traditional aspects of religious life (they wear a very nice modified habit and live in community) with the more modern (my daughter emails me, I feel like the younger sisters are treated like adults and while they are principally a teaching order, they are open to other activities - one of their sisters is a lawyer and works with poor migrants.)  I think you would like them

While it's not about discernment, per se, it sheds very good light on the vocation of Consecrated chastity.

I have a book review one our blog: https://ourfranciscanfiat.wordpress.com/2015/07/30/book-review-and-you-are-christs/

Again, I'd recommend the CMSWR'S Directory, mentioned on another thread.
