I don't have a backyard to bury them; I live in an apartment. They're just in a box in my room currently what would you do? You can see if someone else can do it for you - some churches may even have a place to put all the broken sacramentals for later proper disposal (or ask the parish priest if he can do it for you). If for some reason this failed completely, and in the case of scapulars, I'd cut it into tiny shreds so that it is in no way recognizable as a scapular and then it can be discarded.
