First Day in New Job

I had my first day in my new job today. It was basically an introduction to the hospital and the staff team so I didn't spend much time with patients. I just had a couple of hours on my ward in the evening. This is definitely going to be one of the more challenging jobs I've had - it's psychiatric intensive care and the teenagers in the ward are extremely unwell, and at high risk to themselves or others or both.  Please pray for the young people I'll be working with and for me to do my best for them. I met a young man with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and various other conditions who has been in hospital for a year; please pray for him especially. This ward isn't really the right place for him, but neither is anywhere else.
