I did it

I did it

From now on, I will tell you what to say.  Repeat this often:  "There is not enough energy in the cosmos to electroshock me back into coherency".  Say this especially after meals and before you go to your favorite Hookah bar.

No. That is a conspiracy by those who have nothing better to do with their time. The doctors determined it was a heart issue, as he was indeed on heart medication at the time.

There is also literally zero evidence he was killed by God because of an alleged heretical document.

I think people make up these things because reality is more boring than their conspiracies. Though I agree the reality of these matters usually is quite boring, the boring nature of reality is why novels exist.

Hey I think popes dying of natural causes after 30 days is still pretty exciting in an unfortunate way.

Reality. It will make your insides melt.

(Very extensive article on it)

People paint a picture of Pope John Paul I as an eager crusader out to turn the church upside down and reverse church teaching on contraception -- there were even some theories on the other end of the spectrum that he wanted to reinstate the Tridentine Mass. At the end of the day, the conspiracy theories aren't that plausible, but everyone loves a good story about the Vatican.

The Vatican was a bit reluctant to give the straight answer on who actually found the pope in his quarters because it was the pope's housekeeper (an elderly nun) and they didn't want people to be scandalized about it.
