Guest
That debate is going full throttle in my news feed right now. Tons of post from everyone on it. Vatican 2 says yes. Franklin Graham says no. What do you think? Edited December 22, 2015 by Guest
dominicansoul
Muslims actually say no, they do not worship the same God as Christians, because they don't believe in the Holy Trinity...but, because they believe to worship the "God of Abraham" well....that's our GOD too! it's quite confusing Edited December 22, 2015 by dominicansoul

Luigi
Muslims worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jews do, too. We Catholics know now that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a trinity. But Abraham didn't know it, nor did Moses, nor did any of the Old Testament personnel. Nobody knew it until Jesus came and explained it all. When he did explain it, not everybody believed him. But if Muslims worship God the Father, then they are worshipping the same God we worship. They just don't understand God as fully as we do.

It's interesting to note that that title is absent from the 99 names of Allah.

The Jews of today as well as Muslims have an incomplete understanding specifically because they have rejected crucial aspects of God's Revelation to mankind. The importance of this difference can hardly be overstated.

Do they worship a different God? 18 hours ago, Basilisa Marie said: Little inflammatory, isn't it? Yes. But I think it does make an interesting point. I do not know, but their errors are heresies are certainly not from God. And if they are not of God, where do they come from?

PhuturePriest
If Jews and Muslims simply had some bacon, they would see reason and be enlightened.
Gladius
The Muslims do not worship Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They use derogatory terms to describe the idea of the Trinity. They are not only unbelievers, they are pagans. Same with the Jews. They reject the Trinity, they reject the Messiah, they reject the Church. Vatican II says the Muslims worship the same God together with us. This is blasphemy, heresy, and a grave sin against the First Commandment.
