Freedom
Have you read the bible cover to cover? How has reading the bible changed your life? I'm in going through a honeymoon phase right now and I love God so much! I don't want it to end, I had it once before & never experienced these wonderful sensations of being in love. It's the best feeling in the world and its w the King of Kings, w00t! Merry Christmas y'all!

Ash Wednesday
Yes, but some of the Old Testament were hard to follow, such as the genealogy parts.

HopefulHeart
Yes, twice. Reading the Bible has substantially increased my devotion to the Word of God.

IgnatiusofLoyola
I have read the whole Bible, but not in order. And, I agree with Ash Wednesday that it was difficult, and I confess, sometimes tiresome, to get through "the begats" (i.e., the geneology portions) of the Old Testament. Other books of the Bible made up for it and were anything but tiresome. And, I too, spent a number of years trying to be an Evangelical (and eventually gave it up). HisChildForever
I've read through the New Testament numerous times. Right now I'm reading Mark. I think my resolution for 2016 will be to dive into the Old Testament. Not to read it completely per se but to put focus on it that I've never done before. I've read select books like Genesis, Exodus, Daniel, Job, and parts of Isaiah, but never really read the prophets.
Gladius
Catholics are the worst when it comes to reading the Bible, not a thing to be proud of.
Catherine Therese
Recommend skipping Leviticus and coming back to it later.

My dad goes to some feel-good self-help megachurch. I do not think any of them have even picked up a Bible in the last year.
