I'm trying to find the website for the Order of St. Michael. They are sisters who wear blue and yellow habits. Does anyone know the website for them or an address I could write to? Thank You!

The order was supressed in 2014, because it was a cult, the founder sexually abused the female members of the group, and they did occults rituals. I'm really sorry for you, it was a surprise for a lot of spanish catholics

Are you okay ? I know how hard it is. I enjoyed their music, and they had such a good reputation. It's the kind of moment where we can only pray for the well-being of the members. 

If you're spanish, there are other religious communities that are very good, such as Iesu Communio or the Hermanitas de los ancianos desemparados.

Yes it is. The founder and some sisters tried to found a music group who will sing in parish, but the bishops said they were forbidden to have any activity. The founder and ex-sisters are still living together, outside of any Church authority.

The founder who sexually abused sisters is now living with ex-sisters...?

I believe there will be prosecutions... ? I understand catalan better than spanish, so I'm not sure... What is sure is that they tried to set up a new group. It's all very sad :/

There have been 9 people prosecuted so far. The founder, Miguel Rosendo, has been in jail for a full year already. Police investigation continues full force under legal secrecy.

This has all the traits of a destructive sect. The organization came to have about 400 members. When the Church intervened and investigated dismissing the leader from the organization, most members left. Only about two dozen members remained at the end still attached to the leader, Miguel Rosendo, who had some members under psychological, spiritual, and every form of control.

It is a very sad case which calls for a lot of prayer, primarily for the victims involved, that they will be able to break the spell of the leader upon them. Fortunately this is happening since he was taken into jail and away from contact with the victims.

The case is being actively pursued by Spanish police.
