veritasluxmea
I saw it, was an entertaining two hours! Finally disabled my spoiler blocker. HUGE spoiler meme popped up on my feed this morning. Now people are talking more openly about the movie, saying if you haven't seen it by now to bad Edited December 28, 2015 by veritasluxmea

StMichael
If all you know are the prequels, then I would say go see it. If you grew up with Luke, Leia and Han, then you have already seen this episode. If you want to save a buck, just watch IV and V back to back and you've seen this latest installment. Seven77
I saw it and liked it but wasn't all that impressed… I would say it ranks higher than the prequels. The 1st few minutes seemed like a show on Netflix or something…)
veritasluxmea
Personally, I really like the prequels

Makarioi
I liked the first 3 (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi), which I guess then became the middle 3. The middle 3 was good for historical reasons, still trying to figure out the latest so I read some fan articles on line and some questions were answered. I'll see it again though
Catherine Therese
My little bro managed to get permission from Lucasfilm and Disney to book out an entire cinema on opening night here in Australia. He managed to sell the entire thing out and so we watched it in a cinema with people from my parish, various friends and friends of friends... it was amesome! We were also treated to a lightsabre duel before the movie began. My brother - who could singlehandedly choreograph the lightsabre fight scenes for the remaining two movies if he set his mind to it - took on a friend of his. In the dimmed lighting it looked pretty epic As for the movie itself... I didn't mind that so many of the little motifs within the film seemed like Star Wars history repeating itself... they were tried and tested motifs that made the original films popular. And they did a great job of preserving the feel of the original films whilst still making the most of newer technology. Thoroughly enjoyed it
Peace
I thought it was a very good movie. The greatest movie of all time? I don't think so. I don't think the movie lived up to all of the hype surrounding it, but I did enjoy it and would pay to see it again. It is promising to see the new series get off to a good start. Brother Adam
It was an amesome movie that followed A New Hope a little too closely, but the set up for the next film was perfect.
