Pia Jesu
Make that descriptive..."amesome!" (Side note: This was the one composition that Biebl wanted to hear--on his deathbed!)

DominicanHeart
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THoF5snnSvE We are singing this in our Christmas Concert tomorrow. It's actually really fun to sing, especially our bonus verse that we made up about making pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. That's just how my choir is. HopefulHeart
"Il Est Ne" is one of my childhood favorites.
NadaTeTurbe
There's a civil war in my parish about Il est né, because the traditional version says "Il est né le divine enfant, jouez hautbois, résonnez musettes" (He is born the divine child, play oboe, ring accordions !), and the "parish" version says "Il est né le divine enfant, jour de fête aujourd'hui sur terre" (he is born the divine child, day of feast today on earth). I don't know wish version they'll choose this year, but I don't doubt there was endless debates.
Luigi
"Jesus, THe LIght of the World." Fontella Bass recorded it around 2010 or so, but it's very appropriate for 2016 because of the reference to "dew drops of mercy" shining bright. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQJQpDuCQVg
