IcePrincessKRS
would drinking holy water be a sin? Cause I love drinking it...
*gasp* LOL I can't believe you asked that MC Just! When I was little I used to drink it all the time. Since then I have become kind of paranoid about that and stopped. I wasn't sure if it were a sin/sacrilege or what.... Which leads me to another question, would it be a sin to cut a scapular? Like, to cut the wool piece smaller? I used to have a tiny little scapular, but I lost it about 2 weeks ago and need to get a new one, but all the ones I have seen lately are huge and I want a tiny one like I had before. I may just have to smell of elderberries it up and get one thats a little bigger... the Crusader scapulars aren't that big.... Ellenita
You could view the place where you spilled it as particularly blessed!! I wouldn't burn or bury the cloth if I wiped it up, I'd put the cloth somewhere special in my home...or if it's small, carry it with me!
Philippe
the water evaporated out :\ o well i got a bottle full so yea and it was dirt cheap like a buck 50 for a lot then i got a scapular for like under a buck
IcePrincessKRS
They SOLD you Holy Water?
Philippe
yes? it was at a Catholic store... i think im mostly paying for the container... ya thats it like they had different containers for different amounts then u could fill it up there
IcePrincessKRS
Ok. *phew* Blessed sacramentals are NOT supposed to be sold. If they were actually selling the Holy Water that would be problematic. Since its just the container thats not an issue.
