I also think that this war was wrong for bush and his advisors to start. is it so wrong to very strongly dislike (hate) both canadates../
You can dislike and hate their policies, but as children of God, we can't hate them, themselves. Although sometimes it's very difficult to keep that in mind, I know.

I should remember to pray for them, that they might change their hearts (when they are astray).

It makes sense to me that environmentalists and such would be pro-life, but they arent. Out of my 'hippy' friends, I'm the only one that is solidly pro life. Some are pro-choice and some are in the middle. I don't get that. Most of my 'cool' friends dont care. That makes even less sense.

That's why it's so important that you educate them. A lot of people are pro-"choice" because they know very little about abortion -- that, or they don't view preborn children as being fully human. I used to be pro-"choice" a few years back, and I can honestly say that I didn't think about the issue too much. When I realized what abortion is, I changed my position. Pro-"choice" arguments hold little weight against pro-life arguments. So, in helping one realize the horrors of abortion, it's important to prove the personhood of preborn kids. If your friends are Liberals, try to help them to see that life is a fundamental right, and that denying life spits in the face of liberty and freedom.

God bless,

Jen

Yes, I know what you mean. I hate what they stand for sometimes, too. :(

This is the thing with voting for third party candidates. They have a big chance at not winning. For example, in the past election, Bush Gore and Bucannan (spelling way off but my phonics are rusty) were running. Everyone knew that the main "competition" was between Bush and Gore. If I were to vote for Bucannan (sp again) then Bush would lose a vote and Gore would get ahead. There was no way that Bucannan (sp) were to win. Therefore we have to think logically about who we are voting for. Sometimes I think we have to vote on the "lesser of the two evils" so that the "more" prolife person will win.

Our vote DOES count. It is not like a poll which will show the country our opinion. It is to help someone win. This election might make a BIG difference in the pro-lifety (how pro-life our country is) of our country depending on who we. Therefore I am going to vote for Bush.

I do not agree with the war. But the fact of the matter is, these soldiers are consenting adults, and they know they might die fighting. Abortion however is a whole different story. The child is ripped out of its safe enviorment of his/her mother womb, and dies. The child has no say.

Im voting for Bush, because third parties never get in, and never make a difference. Id be heartbroken if Kerry got in. :(
I'd like to thank you, St. Catherine. I seriously agree with you. Comparing the numbers of casualties in war vs. in abortion is one of the reasons I am voting for Bush.
me too!

LOL! Joe is not Liebermann. It is like Joe Schiner or something.

I shall vote 3rd party. I think you should vote for whoever will most futher ALL parts of the pro life movment. And Joe says he wants to. Bush says he wants to advance some. Let others stand. Joe wants to end all killing.

Lesser evil? I am not sure that exists if you have a choice that is not evil like Joe.
