Sponsa-Christi
Does anyone have a link to something like a verbatim transcription of the press conference where Archbishop Fisichella supposedly said that speaking negatively against the Pope was an excommunicable offense? (And no, it's NOT an excommunicable offense, by the way.) Preferably one in the original Italian? I'm guessing this might have been a mistranslation, or something taken out of context. I've seen the phrase in question mentioned in some secondary sources (like this one: http://aleteia.org/2015/12/05/missionaries-of-mercy-what-does-pope-francis-mean-by-them/ or this: https://canonlawblog.wordpress.com/2015/12/07/most-words-are-not-crimes/ ), but I haven't seen it in its full context or from an official Vatican source. Thanks in advance!
